Yesterday i had drinks with a Husband/Wife couple who married nine years ago after 20+ years of distance after a young college romance. I am married to a Freshman(woman) romantic crush who I lost for 25 years and re-met six years ago. I know two other married couples of congruent age with similar stories/trajectories. So I wonder, is this a generational narrative or a function of internet enabling? There is a long history of "The One That Got Away" - does Google/Facebook just re-equip us with neglected and misplaced tackle? What if the Aztecs had Uzis?
