So the Stonewall Inn and environs are to be a National Monument honoring the role of civil disobedience in promoting and protecting individual rights. I salute that Executive Action as I reflect fondly on afternoons I've spent there playing pool and drinking quarts of chilled Balentine Ale in refuge from oppressive NYC summer heat waves. Before President Obama leaves office in January 2017, can he please stonewall the pernicious NSA/CIA/FBI/FISA COMPLEX and pardon Edward Snowden for promoting and protecting our rights as well? Call off the Justice Department dogs and give the guy a free amnesty-backstopped flight home. He'll travel coach class, I'm sure. I'll buy his drinks.

After three months of blogospheric vacuum I was inspired to post anew as a friend revealed himself to be a closet BTV reader. He also taught me a new term "Slacktivism", which reminded me to report to my legion of followers that AmazonSmile has donated $5 to date to CWB through the purchasing preferences of online supporters.
